Exchange Juanda
Exchange Students
Who am i: Hi my name is Juan David Díaz, but people call me Juanda and I really like playing video games and spaghetti. Also i like listening to jazz music to relax.
Where im from: Im from Costa Rica, it is a very small country in central America. Sometimes people confuse Costa Rica with an island cause it's smallnes. Though Costa Rica is very small it is considered one on the 25 most biodiversic countries, Costa Rica represents the 6% of the biodiversity of the world.
The blog purpose: This blog is about the exchanges in Costa Rica. Why is it good you might ask, is very good for the foreign students to learn about our country and its culture. There are some advantages about it are that the foreign students can learn spanish and can get to see the unique things about our country like the species here.
General aspects of CR: Costa Rica is filled with touristic places due to almost all its economy is based in tourism, so almost anywhere you go people can maybe talk in another language
Specific aspects about education: In Costa Rica the exchanges are international, whether it's a public or a private school, there's more of this in the flyer below.
My experience at school: In this section im going to talk about my experience like a timeline, in 3 phases: my experience in school, my experience at highschool and how I want my experience to be at University.
I started in the Santa Cecilia school and stayed there for 3 years there where I really enjoyed being but due to some inconveniences I had to move to another school
the school I moved to is: Taller Pedagógico Montebello in which I'm still today. I really liked this school because it is very respectful with other beliefs, nationality, etc.

The highschool I'm in is Taller Pedagógico Montebello too where I really enjoy being and also where I think the education is really good.
Im not really sure at which university I want to go yet because iI need to do more research about universities here in Costa Rica but I want to go to a university that really makes me use all my skills to the limit and really makes me want to study the career I choose.
